As a QC Software Developer, you will be responsible for setting up test configuration environments, developing and executing automated test systems as well as isolate, reproduce and report software defects. Familiar with various aspects of software development, you will assist Engineering in the implementation of software development best practices.
Responsabilites
- Design, develop and execute reusable and maintainable automated test systems.
- Develop test procedures and cases based upon agile requirements.
- Isolate, reproduce and report software deficiencies.
- Assist software development engineers in the implementation of unit test strategy.
- Develop metrics to support continuous test process improvements (ex.: Static and dynamic code analysis).
Your Strengths
- University degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in software testing methodologies and software development (C++, Object Oriented, Python)
- Knowledge of game engine such as Unreal Engine, Unity, CryEngine or other 3D game engine.
- Familiar with OpenGL, DirectX, shaders, graphic rendering pipeline.
- Familiar with Scrum software development practices and Continuous Integration techniques.
- Game industry experience (2+ years) would be an asset.
