I24: Reconstructing Thermal Emissions on the GPU using an Indexed Texture Format that Texture Filters and MIP-maps
Scott W. Davidson
A desirable feature in IR sensor simulation is to provide radiance-based imagery that responds to changes in material temperatures as a function of simulated time-of-day, atmospheric state (i.e. cloudy, rainy, clear, etc.), and surface orientation. We propose a scheme in this paper, called “I24”.
