Analyzing Memory Usage Patterns in a Large-Scale Visual Simulation

The paper presents a practical approach to identification and utilization of dynamic memory allocation and usage patterns in a large-scale visual simulation application.  The paper presents practical guidelines and techniques found particularly useful in the process of development of the Vega PrimeTM framework (a large-scale C++ COTS toolkit) and tuning high-performance visual simulation applications built on top of it.
