At Presagis, our goal is to provide our customers with innovative solutions for the rapid development of training & simulation applications. With this in mind, we recently launched the Aeria Suite and HeliScene – open and affordable solutions for the M&S community.

HeliScene
HeliScene is an innovative helicopter mission and operation rehearsal application framework. It combines the strength of Presagis software tools, Lyra IG, STAGE, and HeliSIM, with a dedicated hardware environment to provide a flexible and open turn-key solution.
Designed to fill the gap between full-flight simulation trainers and desktop-based products, HeliScene is a reasonably priced solution that allows pilots, researchers, and trainees to experience realistic operational situations and practice flying in complex, real-life scenarios.

PARTNER SPOTLIGHT \ realdb

RealDB provides custom modeling services of real-time products for industrial and military training. They have the largest worldwide modern military model library in OpenFlight format that is ready to use within a number of simulation environments.

RealDB's MQ-8B Fire Scout VTUAV model, was built leveraging features from the Creator Extended Materials Palette, such as shaders and bump map, to produce a highly realistic model that allows for great performance in visual systems, such as Vega Prime and Lyra.

Working with STAGE, ESG developed the Cockpit Procedure Trainer (CPT) for the German Navy in order to provide training for two distinct groups: advanced pilots who need to get up to speed on the modernized aircraft and entry-level pilots who require complete training.

National Aerospace Laboratory (NLR)

The National Aerospace Laboratory (NLR) tactical research facility employs Presagis Terra Vista for synthetic terrain generation, Vega Prime for out-the-window and sensor visualization. Presagis simulation technology is also leveraged in order to create scenarios and link simulations that use different communications protocols used across applications at their facility.

According to Michel Keuning, Senior Scientist at NLR "We wanted to keep the facility low-cost and mobile, which are both very important factors for conducting our research." To meet this criteria NLR employs Presagis COTS software. Terra Vista for terrain creation, Presagis Vega Prime for sensor modules and SIM OneNet to link different simulations.

This year’s recipient is Turkey’s KaTron A.S. for their full motion tramway simulator. Working with Creator and Vega Prime, KaTron A.S. developed this simulator for the transportation company Istanbul Ulasim A.S. to assist in driver training.
