SUPPORT \ Q&A David Pine, Director of Customer Support at Presagis, answered a few questions about what Presagis Support offers to our customers today, and what you can expect to see in the near future:
What is the Presagis vision for support of its customers?
Presagis Product Support is based on an ongoing commitment to our customers as well as industry best practices that are developed from our years of experience working with leading organizations. Our key focus is on delivering a unified Product Support that cover all Presagis product lines.
Presagis also believes it is critical to establish a strong internal infrastructure that can empower the Product Support team to rapidly respond to our customers. Product Support technicians, acting on behalf of our customer, have access to the full breadth of company expertise, including Product Development, Technical Services, and other teams required to ensure the timely resolution of cases. These groups work closely together on a daily basis on behalf of our customers.
How is Presagis support handled in Europe and the rest of the world?
Presagis is currently implementing a European support organization that works closely with our local sales and services team. This will benefit our Customers by providing technical assistance in their local time.
In the very near future, we will also be taking steps that will enhance our ability to provide localized Product Support to our customers in other areas of the world.

TECHNICAL SERVICES \ CUSTOMER SUCCESS
Presagis Technical Services (TS) works closely with industry leading organizations and government agencies around the world. These customers expect best-in-class services and project management for their mission critical projects. For the development of custom applications or extensions built using Presagis products or for assistance with customizing current applications based on Presagis software, the TS team has the expertise to help you develop successful Modeling and Simulation applications.
The Presagis family of COTS software products is a broad and extensive suite of applications with industry-leading features and capabilities. However some customers must provide a compliance-based solution to their end users, and therefore require certain modifications and extensions to the Presagis products. The Presagis TS team is organized to execute and manage these efforts and offers the commercial and technical management of complex, procurement and software development required by system integrator customers. Two key TS groups work seamlessly together to ensure Presagis delivers excellence in service and software development:
1. The TS Program Management group provides a consistent point of contact, manages communication, and coordinates the delivery of contract deliverables.
2. The TS Program Engineering group is the technical proxy for the customer and both ensures compliant performance against specification and interfaces with core software development groups within Presagis.
Presagis TS also has a staff of highly skilled Technical Consultants at the ready to provide expert help to our customers.

In this newsletter, we highlight how AEgis Technologies successfully created simulations that ran throughout NBC's coverage of the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing using Terra Vista and Creator from Presagis.
The AEgis Technologies Group, headquartered in Huntsville, Alabama USA, provides expert modeling and simulation, and microsystems engineering services and products to industries throughout the world. As a partner of Presagis, AEgis provides high fidelity 3D digital models (3D Elements) and terrains to their end users. AEgis - Aerial Simulations of Olympic Proportion
Watching the 2008 Summer Olympics on television has given many of us the opportunity to see China for the first time. To provide its viewers with a more complete picture of the country, NBC has been running aerial simulations of several Chinese cities. Beginning with Matt Lauer on "The Today Show" the week before the 29th Olympiad began, NBC viewers have been experiencing China from above.
The coverage features simulations of seven cities--Beijing, Hong Kong, Qindao, Qinhuangdao, Shanghai, Shenyang, and Tianjin--and includes 350 individual structures and all 35 Olympic venues. To create these extraordinary simulations, NBC turned to the modeling and simulation experts at AEgis. Headquartered in Huntsville, Alabama, AEgis provides simulation development and microsystems engineering services to customers worldwide.
