MODELING & SIMULATION: BREAK THE BOUNDARIES OF DATABASE DEVELOPMENT \

As always, the last quarter of the calendar year is always very busy and productive at Presagis-  the end of 2011 saw the announcement of SEGen Server, a cost-effective server-based software solution for the generation of high-fidelity, highly realistic synthetic environments for training, and development or prototyping of R&D simulation applications.  Moreover, the last few months of 2011 also saw the release of new versions of many of our products including, AI.implant v.5.7, Visualization v.5.0, FlightSIM / HeliSIM v.11.0, STAGE v.6.2, and SIM OneNet v.1.4. December’s I/ITSEC brought a successful close to 2011 where we exhibited in a brand new  booth and demonstrated our innovative technology including a powerful interactive multi-domain joint simulation demonstration which showed off the power of the pre-integration of Presagis software. As we look forward to 2012, Presagis will continue to innovate and deliver easy to use solutions that enable our customers to develop their training and simulation applications quicker and at lower cost.

EMBEDDED GRAPHICS: MILITARY & COMMERCIAL AVIONICS \ PROVEN HMI SOFTWARE TOOLS & OPENGL DRIVERS

In this issue of the Presagis Embedded Graphics Newsletter, we discuss how customers have faced common avionics problems and learned how to decrease development timelines and save on overall program costs by using COTS software tools for Military & Commercial avionics display development.

A special highlight in this issue is our Q+A session with Tom Erkkinen, Product Manager for Code Generation and Certification products at MathWorks. Our discussion surrounds how MathWorks and Presagis work together to improve user experience through strong implementation of Model-Based Design philosophies and significant pre-integration Simulink and VAPS XT.
