Visualise Modelling - Residential Urban Simulation

This scene is a highly detailed apartment complex set of models developed by Visualise Modelling for a housing developer. It was used to assist with the planning and development processes, in addition to ultimately marketing the units for sale to prospective buyers, all by providing a highly realistic model of the surrounding environment including parklands, road networks, moving vehicles and full 360 degree views.

The generation of a highly realistic road system was a key part of the planning proposal. This was achieved by modelling the complete road layout including, markings, street furniture and a range of complex vehicles, all from unique photo texture.

Source material included CAD-generated DXF files, and printed plans. Both aerial and standard photography were utilized as well as sample materials from suppliers of brick, railings, windows for geometry editing and texture capture. Creator and Vega Prime were used for the scene development and deployment of this application.
