Simthetiq - 3D Models
Montreal’s Simthetiq is dedicated to creating immersive models and visual databases for the M&S industry.
This photo-quality model was made with Creator and includes articulations, levels of detail, sensor thermal signatures, and multiple damage states.
Designed to be used in a variety of real-time virtual training environments, the model runs on target platforms that are capable of ingesting OpenFlight DIS configured real-time entity models.
Simthetiq’s main challenge for this model was developing a workflow that would allow them to build both DIS/SISO and CDB output from the same initial model.
Using Creator enabled their artists to access all the required attributes for the CDB and DIS output and to finish the project on schedule.
