This image is composed of images from the Raydon Virtual Driver terrain database and application, and the AFIST XXI Abrams Tank training system. The end users for RVD are teenage and adult driving students for high schools and military bases. For the Military Operations in Urban Terrain (MOUT) database, the end users are armored vehicle crews in tanks, fighting vehicles, HMMWVs and other military applications.
The trainers using the RVD database have received very favorable reviews from driver education demonstrations and have resulted in increased sales. Similarly, the military community has extended very favorable comments about the MOUT database. The Army National Guard has included this MOUT database in the release of the AFIST XXI Abrams Tank training systems and it will be included in ABFIST Bradley Fighting Vehicle training systems. The databases run on high end PC computers using the Raydon BARE API rendering software.
