The images show high definition 3D simulation models of the USS Nimitz (CVN-68) with US Navy aircraft and surrounding synthetic environment.  The models were created to help demonstrate the advanced capabilities of the Adacel MaxSim® Simulation and Training system.  The Nimitz model contains a full set of controllable lights, functional radar, jet-blast shields and aircraft elevators. The model is simulation ready for aircraft launches using the catapults and landings on the flight deck. All aircraft are equipped with foldable wings, for parking, undercarriage hooks, to simulate arrester gear landing operations, afterburners, realistic textured cockpits and highly detailed 3D pilots.

The 3D models and the synthetic environment were created using Multigen Creator and Creator Pro.  MultiGen's Vega Prime was used for visualizing the model in varying environmental conditions and angles, allowing adjustments to the model for optimum realism.
