Vega Prime was very useful for the generation of the database, detailed pictures and polygons as well as the simulation of sophisticated environmental features.
Displayed here are several views of the Yamagata Airport, one of the typical Japanese regional airports. It was created for use with the Aeronautical Mobile Communication and Information Training System, and is used in the tower visual and communications simulator. This system is an integral part of the training for all Air Traffic Services Flight Information Officers.
Japan Radio's project demanded a high level of detail, particularly of pictures and polygons, in order to create an extremely accurate simulation of runways, buildings, and environmental features. The sophisticated image simulation provided by Vega Prime FX was instrumental for a project that demanded such high quality imagery.
