Image Modelling - Urban Simulation
Image Modelling Ltd. helped the East Preston Parish Council obtain permission for an extension to their local village hall.
The goal of this project was to provide an accurate 3D representation of the proposed extension plans for the local village hall. The 3D representation enabled the Parish Council to better present the plans to the local residents and to show what the final building would look like in conjunction with the existing structure.
One of the key elements that made the project extremely realistic was the Shadow module in Vega Prime that allows shadows to be automatically added to the scene. Image Modelling Ltd. also took full advantage of the ease with which changes could be made to the model and then viewed directly in Vega Prime.
Creator was also extremely useful for this project, especially its ability to capture Google Earth snapshots. This helped to speed up the design phase and to accurately position the existing building structures in the environment.
