EDS developed a virtual model of the city of Sterling Heights, Michigan Civic Center Commons for the use in planning, operating and promoting the complex.
EDS developed a virtual model of the city of Sterling Heights, Michigan Civic Center Commons for the use in planning, operating and promoting the complex. The final application provided the community with a way to view existing and proposed buildings and the surrounding vicinity. The application was built by merging existing terrain survey data, and AutoCAD data with new landscape drawings creating an impressive view of the complex.
Creator was used for texturing and realtime optimization. The OpenFlight format was used as the standard for data exchange by the development team. Vega was used as the application development platform.
