CAE Inc. - Swiss Database
Creator's tools were essential for the rapid, optimized construction of navigation, environment and target features.
This image is an example of the Swiss database, which was developed by CAE to demonstrate rapid database generation capability. All models were developed in OpenFlight using Creator Pro. They were then populated from customer-provided source data, using CAE's in-house toolset. This provided a high density of features in a compelling and representative scene rendered using CAE's Medallion 6000 real-time software.
The image below was taken from the CAE WATTS demonstration database, and was specifically designed to highlight the new snow scene contaminant effects available with CAE's leading TROPOS 6000 Image Generator technology to prospective customers. Models in the database were developed in OpenFlight using Presagis Creator Pro. Creator's DOF functionality and texture tools were key to making an animated, feature-rich, high quality simulated environment enabling the TROPOS system to be demonstrated to best effect.
