Using the Isolate Palette in Creator helps Japan's CAD Center focus on the details for their virtual version of Chukyo University.
CAD Center is in the process of developing a virtual version of Japan's Chukyo University. Working in partnership with the University, CAD Center has already developed simulations for two facilities-the circuit course and the arena-and has plans to create even more.
The potential uses for this application extend far beyond virtual tours of the campus. The University's Department of Mechanics and Information Technology and its School of Information Science and Technology are planning to use the applications to study and develop a number of different systems. These systems include an electric-powered treadmill, a virtual skating system, and a skating analysis.
Because the university intends to create an entire virtual campus in the future, the team is focusing on keeping their databases as small as possible. Presagis Creator is helping the team to meet this challenge.Leveraging the Isolate Pallette feature in Creator has allowed the team to focus on the details of the simulations, including small objects or parts of the field. This unique function is saving them considerable modeling time.
