CAD Center - Himeji Castle
Creator Pro and Vega Prime were used to recreate high fidelity, high resolution images of the Himeji Castle, one of Japan's national treasures.
This image displays the Virtual Reality contents that CAD Center created for the theater room at the Hyogo Prefectural Museum of History. The film, which was created using Presagis Content Creation and Visualization software, is projected simultaneously from three different projectors to achieve high resolution and image quality. Such a process demands reliable software in order to maintain the coordination between the three projections. Also, the images must be of the highest quality, as they are projected onto a 3 x 10 foot screen.
This project recreated the Himeji Castle, a national treasure of Japan, as well as the town, division, and mountain range that had previously surrounded it. Recreating such a significant landmark demands accuracy, consistency, and attention to the finest detail, which is why Creator Pro and Vega Prime were used for this project. Features such as SkyLight created depth and texture to the sky surrounding the castle which enhanced the historical realism of the VR scenario.
