Aeronautical Safety College - Air Traffic Control
Using Creator and Vega Prime, the TAISEI Corporation provides highly realistic simulated training environments for students studying Air Traffic Control.
The TAISEI Corporation of Tokyo develops Air Traffic Control simulations for the Aeronautical Safety College of Japan’s Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transportations.
The College offers one-year programs in Air Traffic Control training and graduates approximately 50 Air Traffic Controllers each year. Using Creator and Vega Prime, the team at TAISEI developed simulations that run on Linux in two separate theaters.
By employing Creator, they were able to easily and effectively create highly detailed 3D models and digital terrains. And, Vega Prime gave them the ideal framework for rapidly configuring, creating, and deploying their advanced simulation applications.
Working with these Presagis solutions and using terrain data, satellite pictures, and models, the team was able to create simulations that provide students with the opportunity to develop their skills in a highly realistic environment.
