Adacel Inc. - MaxSim4 simulation system
By taking advantage of the extended capabilities in Creator and Vega Prime, Adacel Inc. sets a new modeling standard for its MaxSim4 simulation system.
Adacel's MaxSim4 represents the next generation in Air Traffic Control (ATC) simulators. This ATC simulation environment features higher levels of terrain accuracy, multiple layers of texture, increased feature details, and improved rendering performances.
To achieve this, Adacel's modeling group designed and implemented a new modeling standard. This new standard takes advantage of the latest PC IG hardware technology and the extended capabilities of Creator and Vega Prime.
Using Creator and Creator Pro, the modeling group at Adacel was able to develop highly optimized, high-fidelity real-time 3D content for the MaxSim4 simulation system. Then, working in LynX Prime, they were able to rapidly prototype and modify their simulation application.
These airport modeling enhancements allow for more realistic ATC simulations.
