Trade shows are often the catalyst that drive the creation of new demonstrations and  Avionics Europe was no different!  One new demo that was created for the show is an interactive Vehicle Management system application.

As cockpits become more interactive with touch-screen displays and take inspiration from consumer devices, vehicle management systems are taking a larger place in the cockpit.

Entirely built using the rich library of objects provided out-of-the-box with VAPS XT, this demo highlights how rich display applications can be created by mixing vector graphics with images. It also highlights the power of the VAPS XT state chart diagram tool, which was used to manage page switching logic, as well as application logic within each section of the system.

This demo is being shown on a Windows 7-based tablet computer that is directly able to run executables generated by the VAPS XT Code nGEN.

If you are in Munich this week I hope you will come by the Presagis booth (D13) to take a look!
