We wanted to demonstrate how users could easily use our COTS tools to develop a UAS Ground Control Operator training application and, over the last two days of the show, I was pleased to hear from attendees how well the demo mirrored reality, down to the small features that would normally be a real headache to implement using in-house technologies!
Some attendees indicated that they already had some components of the application in place and I was happy to let them know that, due to the open nature of our tools, it would be quite easy to substitute a demo component with something that they might already have in house.

Note: As highlighted in a previous blog post about development of the UAS Ground Control Operator demonstration, we used a combination of VAPS XT, Vega Prime, FlightSIM and STAGE as the main components to develop the application.
If you are at ITEC today and have not had a chance to stop by our booth (J110), I hope to see you! If not, we look forward to meeting you in June at Eurosatory or CANSEC .
