Starting from a simple building footprint, the wizard lets users load a background floor plan image and provides tools to quickly create walls, doors, windows and staircases as desired. It also allows users to specify the textures to represent the various visual aspects of the building (floor, inner walls, outer walls, roof, etc.). In addition to all of these modeling elements, other interesting features of the wizard include the ability to see the resulting building in an "exploded" view (as seen in the snapshot below) or a more traditional complete view, to assign different types to each floors of a building (e.g. attic, basement, floor level), to easily copy floors when creating a multi-story building and to align elements such as windows and doors even when they are located on different walls.

Beyond all of these new editing capabilities, a very important capability of the building wizard is that it can automatically generate and output all of the relevant MES (Multiple Elevation Structure) and UHRB (Ultra-High Resolution Buildings) data for the buildings that it creates. Both are meta data information that are used to represent a building in SAF (Semi-Automated Forces) packages such as OneSAF.
Finally, something new to Creator users is the ability to re-open the Building with Interiors Wizard after is has been closed to make some modifications to their work. This type of functionality will eventually become standard across all wizards. The Building Interiors wizard is available as a separately licensed module for the new Creator 3.5 release.
