Whereas last year showed a lot of new connectivity between our products, our showcase this year is even more focused on how all of our technologies inter-operate to facilitate the creation of complex simulation environments. More specifically, our two main demonstration areas will showcase the integration of products from our four main product families (Content Creation, Simulation, Visualization and HMI) to show examples of cohesive training platforms.
Beyond using the out-of-the-box connectivity between all of the Presagis products, a new technology that greatly simplified the creation of these demonstrations is the Presagis Utilities Manager. This new product, which will initially be made available to STAGE and Vega Prime users, followed by the rest of our user community, was created to simplify the configuration and deployment of simulation applications across one or multiple computers.

If you are involved in the creation of large simulation environments, you probably have to deal with manually starting applications on multiple computers along with managing and synchronizing files across all these systems. Through the use of a clean and simple user interface, the Utilities Manager can access resources from multiple computers that are connected to its controller and allows users to create combinations of applications that should be started to be able to perform a simulation exercise. Once these combinations (called workflows) are created, they can launch all processes specified at the press of a button on local and remote computers. Beyond the startup of all of your applications, workflows also help with the configuration of communications of all processes, including server tasks involved in a CDB-based simulation exercise and can also synchronize files across multiple computers to be sure that the same data is used across the board.
We hope that you will quickly adopt this new and very useful technology in your simulation environments. If you are visiting I/ITSEC this year, make sure that you stop and visit us at booth 2300 to see our live demonstrations and get a first glimpse of the Utilities Manager.
