The same principle applies when creating an interactive display application using
VAPS XT. The latest release version 2.3 of the
Presagis HMI design product, adds the capability to comment virtually any aspect of your application.
By opening the new Comments Editor window, the user is able to comment any item that is selected. This includes attaching comments to object instances in an object or format, commenting data flow connections or internal transitions or even commenting the properties of a new user-created object in the class editor. The following illustration shows an example of a data flow comment, with the little red triangles on three of the lines indicating which elements have comments associated with them.

Beyond allowing users to comment on their design for readability and sharing ease, the information stored in these fields is stored in your design XML files and will also be available in the automatic document generation tool that is currently under development at Presagis.
