STAGE

STAGE is a simulation software that provides users with the ability to generate and execute complex scenarios for training and analysis.

This software allows programmers and non-programmers alike to work in a flexible, integrated simulation environment to build dynamic and interactive tactical and operational scenarios.

Drawing on more than 15 years of Presagis global leadership and pioneering expertise in the modeling and simulation industry, STAGE is the premier in-house, re-configurable virtual forces simulation solution.

From flight simulation training to new concepts analysis, STAGE is the ideal tool for solving critical problems in final simulation applications, including:

Core Components of STAGE

STAGE  is the most complete simulation product available on the market today. With one license, STAGE provides users with an ‘A to Z’ set of features based on a proven, highly deployed and adopted CGF.

STAGE 6.0 Components

STAGE allows users to author and animate, in real-time as well as in asynchronous time, synthetic tactical operations supporting multi domain distributed exercises.

Current Version

New features and enhancements in STAGE 6.0 include:

Enhanced User Interface

Offers a superior user interface and visual quality achieved through integration with Presagis Vega Prime.  STAGE is the only COTS simulation software offering an out-of-the-box 2D and a 3D viewer based on industry leading visualization technology at no extra cost:

  • Vega Prime powered Tactical Display and STAGE Vega Prime Viewer
  • Licensing changes
  • Interface enhancements (Start/Stop, resizable windows, etc.)

Advanced Mission Editing

New features make it easier to setup exercises and bring more realism to your simulations. The helicopter simulation model, sensors simulation models and mission editor module have all been enhanced in STAGE 6.0 while tactical groups and new, associated Mission Editor conditions and procedures have also been added.

Virtual Environment Included Out-of-the-Box

Virtual environment components included out-of-the-box with STAGE allow for the creation of complex scenarios anywhere in the world.

  • CDB and OpenFlight are now the native formats for STAGE
  • A Global Mapper and the CDB Gen tool allow for integration with many other GIS formats into STAGE.
  • Detailed buildings (based on Creator) are now supported
  • A World Navmesh Generator provides Artificial Intelligence support

Core Features

Plug-in based architecture

Through its open API and plug-in architecture, STAGE can be integrated with most existing software applications. Not only can you customize the STAGE GUI, but some functionalities can be replaced by your own algorithms to meet your specific needs and integrate STAGE with offer new user modules required for your, or your customers', end applications.

  • Easily integrate new libraries and components built on the framework of the existing STAGE API
  • Customize the STAGE GUI with almost no limitation
  • Create dock-able windows
  • Add/remove or extend simulated systems
  • Personalize both views and the STAGE application itself

With STAGE 6.0 Presagis has delivered on its vision of a flexible, integrated simulation environment that offers an open, standards-based architecture while providing an enhanced feature set and seamless support for a full range of Presagis software products, third party applications, and industry database and communication standards.

Network centric collaborative and multi-domains exercises

Interoperability in STAGE enables users to simply connect through the integrated SIM OneNet based gateway with networks based on HLA, DIS or any other socket based communication protocols.

Industry Standards

Presagis promotes reusability and use of industry standards with STAGE, as well as with all its COTS products.  STAGE can seamlessly interoperate in a distributed simulation environment and benefits from HLA and DIS protocol (HLA 1516, HLA 1.3 and DIS protocols ) support out-of-the-box. In addition, STAGE also leverages standards CIGI, shared memory and TCP/IP.
