Terra Vista ProBuilder
ProBuilder also offers native support for TerraPage and OpenFlight® visual formats and DTED, ASCII, Geo-Tiff, ECW, and Shapefile source data formats. The product also supports several, separately sold, optional SAF output compilers including CTDB, JSAF, SEDRIS, JCATS and OTF. In addition to an extensive library of 3D static models and textures, ProBuilder also comes with a 3D viewer that allows you to fly through your built terrain in either TerraPage or OpenFlight format, make screen shots, or record videos. This tool also offers Parametric Modeling and Artificial Intelligence technology that reviews your source data and recommends the optimum configuration of your database parameters for faster and more accurate project setup.
The integrated editing tools in ProBuilder also let you place models into your built environment and interactively correct orientation, scale, position, and type while watching the results in the 3D viewer window. You can also quickly correct source data errors from within the application using the embedded vector and elevation editors, and the elevation editors automatically mosaic and correct errors typically found in elevation data.
Terra Vista 6.1 - New Features:
Import and Export VBS2's P3D Model Format
Users can now import Bohemia Interactive's P3D model format for the VBS2 terrain format. This will allow for the use of existing P3D models, to include those with building interiors and articulated parts, to be imported into Terra Vista and output to the VBS2 terrain database.
Create Volumetric Complex Tunnels
The complex tunnel feature will allow for the rapid creation of volumetric underground tunnels and facilities that can have a variety of above-ground and underground components that interconnect at various locations.
CCS Support for MMB
CCS support offers users easier configuration management for MMB setup, as well as lower initial operating system costs. Additionally, it efficiently leverages the power of 64-bit computers in an affordable high-performance computing (HPC) solution.
Enhanced 3D Viewer
Users now have the ability to preview and navigate CDB data in a 3D environment, enabling them to analyze and review their CDB output.
New tutorials are now provided with the Sample Database to better help leverage Terra Vista tools (Getting Started Guide, VBS2 Tutorial and Creating Virtual Texture Databases for Vega Prime).
