Creator Road Tools
The Creator Road Tools Option enhances the realism of urban simulations
and transportation visual simulation applications by using accurate and advanced
algorithms for synthetic road generation. These tools permit the placement of roads with automated attributes into a synthetic environment and then allow you to preview them in a unique pre-simulated "drive" mode in the modeling environment. Purchased as an add-on module for Creator or CreatorPro, Creator Road Tools meets the stringent requirements of driving simulations for the purpose of vehicle design, specialized driver training, entertainment, and accident re-enactment.
Parameters defined in Creator Road Tools describe the horizontal alignment of a road curve.
Variations of horizontal controls that define the way in which super elevation is distributed in spiral sections, including linear with length and linear with curve angle.
Operating the same for curve sections and hill sections, the vertical profile is defined by these controls and by the elevations and slopes at the beginning and ending control points.

With automatic generation of up to nine levels-of-detail, permits the target platform to switch between more or less complex versions of a model.

Preserve the orientation of the feature in a variety of capabilities, add 2D features to the database, and fix the drawing priority of the feature relative to the road.
With Creator Road Tools, you can generate ready-to-run roads and road networks that seamlessly integrate into industry-standard OpenFlight terrain and synthetic environment databases and are optimized for real-time 3D visual simulation applications. This option also allows you to automatically add and append road segments to existing roads and to pre-visualize traveling along the roadway from within the Creator 3D modeling space.
