While we’re talking about scripting ...

I notice that if I have Creator up, open the OpenFlight script editor, and then minimize it (the editor), when I bring it back the staus log is gone, and the only way I’ve found to bring it back is to stop and restart Creator.  Simple workaround is to close the editor vis minimize it, and when you reopen it, the same script is still active; but sometimes I click the minus instead of the X, ya know?  ...

hmmm… not seeing that here with 4.1…but I do remember that in 3.5/4.0 under certain circumstances.  Thought we solved it in 4.1.  Are you using 4.1 or some earlier version?  If 4.1, I suspect it may have something to do with the original size of the Script window and/or the proportion of the status log in the Script window.

Once this happens, have you tried checking the View>Status Log option?  Does that bring it back?
If you’re still stuck, can you provide any more specifics as to size/proportions and which specific max/min buttons are you clicking.  Also are you on multiple monitors?

Nope, View->Status does not fix.

Hmmmm - thought I had upgraded to 4.1, but it appears I’m still at 4.0.  that’s probably it.  I am gettting a new machine tomorrow - I’ll make sure it has 4.1 on it.

Tanx

BTW - with this new forum, it looks sweet, and I never have to copy and paste my replies anymore (used to have to try submitting 5-10 times sometimes), but it always freezes up for a few seconds when switching topics ot pages.

Let us know if you still see this in 4.1.  Like I said, we did work on this, explicitly, for 4.1.
