To adjust the models manually the footprint needs to be shown. To do so I add the attribut model = [flt-name] in the vector editor. For some reason TerraVista can´t handle this attribut - it couldn´t from version 3 on, since we use Terra Vista! But former versions just ignore vectors with this attribut. Just writing it incorrect (e.g. modellllll), the model was generated correctly.
Instead of ignoring the model, TV 6.1 gives this warning (which points prcisely to the problem):
WARNING: T-01008 21:JUL:2010:10:59:45.468 - Point feature has invalid Model( BldECDResGrp01Ing.flt ), around location: [ ... ]
Now it works and I am glad after days lost with seaching for the warning´s reason.
