Missing Zoom Control Panel

Hello there,

It’s a complicated story but basically I’ve lost the zoom control panel (I think it’s off the side of the screen). This is a very important panel in my day-to-day work and it’ll be extremely difficult without it.

Is there any way of resetting all the panels in order to try and get it back?

Or does anyone have any other suggestions.

Thank you,
Mark

Delete or edit the “[zoomControl]”-values in file “creator.dcf” in your profile directory (C:\Presagis\Creator_4_1\config\profiles\XYZ).

Ah, thank you! Very helpful.

I did manage to find it (its location is shown in the attached image). However, I might not be so lucky next time and find it so easy, which is why I waited for a response.

Thank you again!

Ah yes the old somehow I moved the darn window off screen problem.  The Creator Desktop Configuration File (DCF) can also be renamed or deleted in its entirety (you will forfeit any custom window/tool bar arrangements) to restore the default layout.

Is there a way to keep a specific setting on the Zoom Control saved so it’s always set from one modeling session to the next?  I find that I rarely need to adjust it, but I never need it set at the default fastest setting.  If anything I need to slow it down a bit when working on very small details.

Sometimes (and I cannot even begin to predict when/why) the Zoom Control will not work at all. it seems to get stuck at the fastest setting regardless of where the slider is set.  It takes a few adjustments up & down the slider to get it “unstuck” and working slowly again.
