Well I’ve just been putting the expiration dates into outlook when we get temp licenses to remind me to ask for a new temp or even a permanent license but we had some server issues and I lost a ton of stuff including my expiration reminder.

Anyways would it be difficult to add a little popup that a temporary or demo license will expire in however many days whenever creator starts up like the popup to load in read-only mode when there is no license to help alleviate the downtime of waiting for a new license?  Can have an option to enable it or not and maybe how many days in advance.

Can we start adding more requests for features in this thread, or will the Presagis crew be starting one for us?  (Can you make it “sticky” at the top of the forums?)

Yeah we need a Feature Request and bug fix sub forum I think. Otherwise this forum will get messy.

My feature request suggestion is the 3d connexion Spacenavigator currently rotates about the eyepoint rather than the object (as per Creator’s rotation), could we have an option to change it to rotate about the object? It would also bring Creator into line with the way all CAD systems use the 3d spaceballs.

I have requested this some time ago in the old forums….can this be implemented?  It is very annoying to have the habit of using one of these devices then it rotates the eyepoint rather then what you expect.

While I agree customers need a place to log and track progress on bugs/new features, this forum is NOT that place.  Currently, that place is with our Technical Support group.  They are set up to receive formal customer feedback, log and track issues and feed this info to the product development group.

Remember, this forum is primarily peer-to-peer where customers can share and get pointers from each other.  Of course, Presagis folks moderate and chip in when they can but there is no guarantee that when a problem is noted here, Presagis will take action.  In most cases, we do but the formal mechanism is with our Technical Support group.
