With the recent release of the CDB WorldWide Database DVD from Presagis, we would like to post some details on how to load the CDB versions supplied on the DVD.
In order to load the CDB versions locally, you will need to specify the CDB directory root in Thea Lite.
- Start the Thea Application.
- Press the Thea button (globe icon) and select “Thea Options”
- The Thea Options Dialog will contain a CDB pane with both local and remote converter options. In the local case, you can set the CDB Directory to point to the root level directory of the CDB version.
- In the case of the WWDB DVD, the standard install is to <drive letter>:\Presagis\CDB. Under this folder, there are three additional folders describing the different CDB versions.
- CDB_CMPP_1_0
- CDB_SK_1_0
- CDB_WWDBLITE_1_0
- You will need to set your CDB directory in Thea Lite to one of these sub folders .
I.e. C:\Presagis\CDB\CDB_WWDBLITE_1_0
- Once you have set that in the CDB options pane, select OK to close the Options pane and select the Open CDB option from the Thea Button menu.
