Can you drop a ship entity on land?  In my database, there is only certain locations where I am able to drop a ship.

I ran some additional tests, so I should rephrase or reask my question.

In the database, there is no defined ocean, only land is defined.  I can drop the ship on land but not where there is no ocean.  Therefore, can you drop an entity in an area where nothing has been defined, that is no land or ocean?

No, there isn’t a way to add an entity where there isn’t any land.  But you can add your entity on the land and then click on the entity in the entity panel on the left and adjust the XYZ position so that it is in the ocean.
