CDBConverter/VRTP update for Thea?

Hi, guys.

It’s been a while since I last looked at Thea Lite so I installed it again last night. Are there any plans to update the CDBConverter/VRTP? I noticed they are quite old now. I tried our 3.8 Converter which worked, but only gave me imagery and elevation datasets.

Hi,

Am I able to view detail textures and how they will look in the final model with Thea Lite?

And if not, Is there a viewer or something that will give me that feedback?

Thea Lite crashes on Dell Precision M4300 with nVidia Quadro FX 360M

I have installed Thea Lite 1.0 and its patch 1.0.1 on a Dell Precision M4300 laptop equiped with a NVIDIA Quadro FX 360M video card. I have updated the video driver from the Dell support site. It crashes with the following exception:

Thea Lite 1.0.1 Patch released and available for download

We are pleased to make available the 1.0.1 patch for Thea Lite. You can find it at the link below. This patch installs over a Thea Lite 1.0 installation so it is a requirement that Thea Lite 1.0 be downloaded and installed on the system first.

Thea Lite Support for CDB WorldWide Database DVD Version

With the recent release of the CDB WorldWide Database DVD from Presagis, we would like to post some details on how to load the CDB versions supplied on the DVD.

In order to load the CDB versions locally, you will need to specify the CDB directory root in Thea Lite.

- Start the Thea Application.
- Press the Thea button (globe icon) and select “Thea Options”

- The Thea Options Dialog will contain a CDB pane with both local and remote converter options. In the local case, you can set the CDB Directory to point to the root level directory of the CDB version.

- In the case of the WWDB DVD, the standard install is to <drive letter>:PresagisCDB. Under this folder, there are three additional folders describing the different CDB versions.

- CDB_CMPP_1_0
- CDB_SK_1_0
- CDB_WWDBLITE_1_0

- You will need to set your CDB directory in Thea Lite to one of these sub folders .

I.e. C:PresagisCDBCDB_WWDBLITE_1_0

- Once you have set that in the CDB options pane, select OK to close the Options pane and select the Open CDB option from the Thea Button menu.

Problems Loading Databases

Hi,

I’ve downloaded and installed Thea 1.0 and the 1.01 patch but can’t get it to successfully load any of the resource databases. I just get an empty blue window, albeit positioned in the right place according to the Navigation tab. Moving and panning reveals nothing new.

I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling but no difference.

The log file contains the following warnings:

CDB areals and point features

I have created a new CDB area with elevation data, imagery, areals, linears and a single point feature in the terrain in TV 6.0. The resulting CDB looks fine on disk and the TV browser.

Thea Lite only renders the terrain polygons with the imagery.

Does the Thea Lite rtp support the other parts of CDB ?
