This programme is initiated and organized by EDS Technologies who are the only authorized distributors of this high end Real Time Visual Simulation software in India.

EDS Technologies is responsible for implementing Real Time Visual Simulation solutions in some of the key establishments across the country in key segments such as defence, aerospace and automotive.

The focus of this day-long event revolved around providing simulation tool users a deeper insight into the latest trends in the Visual Simulation domain as well as helping customers to rapidly create realistic cost effective audio/visual simulations through the innovative use of the latest software tools.

These included end-to-end content creation and delivery solutions for a wide variety of applications including flight simulation, sensor and infra-red (IR) solutions, urban simulation,3D GIS simulation, simulator training and audio simulation.

More than 60 Real Time Visual Simulation (RTVS) tool users in the country, right from leading defense organizations to smaller firms working in niche segments in simulation technologies/services for domestic as well as global clients, had come together to learn about the most advanced state-of-the-art simulation systems

Several demonstrations of cutting edge PC-based tactical military trainers, desktop simulators that created various scenarios where simulation can be used, demonstration of high-end 3D projection systems used with simulation tools for training delivery systems such as night-time warfare training and battle tank training simulation were some of the key highlights of the conference

The need to impart state-of-the-art tactical training techniques even for non- warfare simulation exercises such as marine and navy operations, disaster relief efforts, airport traffic controller simulation, security control and simulation for various high security installations, 3D sports simulators, town planning simulation, driving simulators was also stressed.

The event also featured demonstration by Barco Systems, a world leader in professional markets,offering display and visualization solutions. Barco systems designs and develops solutions for large screen visualization and display of high end simulation and Virtual Reality solutions.

Apart from this, the forum also had in-depth presentations and discussions on simulation products like Creator Terrain Bundle, Creator Terrain studio, Vega Prime, VR Link, VR Forces, MAK Gateway etc amongst others. These were followed by case studies and paper presentations from some of Multigen’s key simulation customers across India.

The forum also organized an exciting contest, “The Ultimate Creator Contest – 06”, for all end users. Participants in this contest had to submit a brief synopsis of the project they are working on using any Multigen Paradigm tool and the best project would be awarded prizes.
