Montreal (Canada) - February 8th, 2005 - Engenuity Technologies Inc. [TSX: EGY], a leading provider of solutions for the development of high-end visualization and simulation applications, today announced that it has signed a three-year maintenance contract with Rockwell Collins (NYSE: COL) valued at over $570,000. The contract covers technical support and regular product updates for recently installed VAPS XT 661 licenses and other Engenuity software tools.
The order follows an announcement in June 2004 that Rockwell Collins had invested in multiple licenses of VAPS XT 661 for the development of displays for a major upcoming avionics program.
“We are extremely pleased with this latest commitment from Rockwell Collins, confirming that there is only one choice when it comes to avionics development software tools,” said Patrice Commune, President and CEO of Engenuity Technologies. “Rockwell Collins has fully integrated VAPS XT 661 into its avionics development process, an accomplishment that has been achieved in just a few months. Avionics development has a bright future ahead, one that Engenuity will continue to play a major role in defining with our newest line of VAPS XT products.“
