CAE-owned TERREX releases new A-Terrain Extreme software product
Tucson, Ariz., - (NYSE: CGT; TSX: CAE) - Terrain Experts, Inc., a company owned by CAE, today announced the release of A-Terrain ExtremeTM, an commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) software tool that is designed to make building 3D databases much easier and more affordable.
"TERREX already offers the industry's leading high-performance database generation software in the Terra Vista product line, and Terra Vista will still be required for the most demanding database generation requirements," said Norman Miller, President, Terrain Experts, Inc. "What we are now offering with A-Terrain Extreme is an affordable software tool designed for the broader market to incorporate 3D content into their databases."
A-Terrain Extreme from TERREX is available now at a list price of US$5,000 per copy.
