Our Technology Vision

Aeria is the Presagis vision for a unified modeling and simulation workflow.

Aeria brings together the Presagis portfolio of COTS software into an open, scalable and reusable platform for the development of land, air and sea applications. With Aeria, users create, simulate, visualize, and analyze within a unified work environment.

Aeria includes leading industry software brands such as Creator, Terra Vista, STAGE, VAPS XT, and Vega Prime, and provides the ability to leverage new and existing standards in order to support third party applications and eliminate application integration and interoperability issues.

The complete openness of Aeria is enabled by leading industry simulation and communication standards including OpenFlight, Terrapage, Common Database (CDB), OTF, CTDB, JCATS, and the GIS data format.

Our History

Presagis was formed following CAE's acquisition of  three industry-leading companies: Engenuity Technologies, MultiGen-Paradigm, and TERREX.  By integrating the powerful products created by these companies, Presagis is extending its knowledge base and is bringing innovative and integrated solutions to customers.  Industry leading product brands such as Creator, STAGE, Terra Vista, VAPS and Vega Prime, as well as  industry accepted standards including OpenFlight and TerraPage, are long standing legacies of these companies and form the foundation for the Presagis product portfolio.  

More recently Presagis acquired Seaweed Systems Inc. to continue to drive our leadership position in the embedded graphics solutions market for mission-critical display applications.  We can now offer market leading human-machine interface (HMI) graphical modeling tools, drivers and devices that produce state-of-the-art graphics and highly optimized code for both PC and embedded systems.

Our Name

"Presagis" (Pre - say - gis) is derived from the word "presage", which means to forecast or predict, and speaks to our core products that help our customers anticipate and prepare for the future.  Presagis is a visionary leader that provides advanced COTS solutions for simulation, modeling, and embedded applications.
