IITSEC BoothVisitors to the Presagis booth (#2301) will learn how the unique integration of Presagis commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) products allows users to focus on the development of their final training and analysis applications and eliminates the need for complex software tool configuration and integration tasks.

At the booth, Presagis will showcase its content creation (Creator, Terra Vista), simulation (STAGE, AI.implant, HeliSIM, FlightSIM, SIM OneNet), and visualization (Vega Prime, Lyra, Lyra IG) software as well as innovative demonstrations using CDB and third-party tools. Visitors to the booth will see new functionality developed to address the needs of urban operations, ground-based simulation and can interact with:

 

Helicopter Pilot Technology Demonstrator

Helicopter PIlot Technology DemonstratorCombining Presagis simulation software STAGE and HeliSIM with the newly announced Presagis Lyra IG, a focal point of the booth will be a fully interactive and realistic 6 degree of freedom helicopter cockpit demonstrator. Complete with 3 channel image generator and screen projection the demonstrator delivers a high-performance and immersive helicopter pilot experience using integrated COTS software and the latest in PC graphics technology and hardware. Visitors will a see a fly-through of CDB-based terrains and experience dynamic training scenarios and high-fidelity helicopter flight motions while being immersed in a compelling visual experience.

UAS Operator Training Demonstrator

UAS Operator Training DemonstratorTo help in the development of training applications for UAS pilots, Presagis has developed a COTS tool-based demonstrator that simulates realistic flight trajectories, generates evolving threats, provides high-fidelity sensor displays, and accurately reproduces control station functionality. Users can work with interactive virtual UAS control elements and simulated camera feeds based on Presagis VAPS XT and Visualization tools while experiencing high-fidelity flight dynamics that accurately represent the motion of a UAS based on Presagis FlightSIM and HeliSIM.

STAGE High Density

Presagis and Wild Systems have developed a solution to address the problems and challenges associated with running extremely large entity count simulation exercises through the delivery of STAGE High Density (STAGE HD).

STAGE HD is a powerful and flexible simulation solution developed to help alleviate the performance bottlenecks frequently encountered when conducting training and testing in large scale simulation environments. Specifically designed to meet high performance computing requirements, it provides users with the ability to create and run scenarios that are 10x more dense.

Creator Version 4.1

Some of the new features in Creator include:

  • Automated LOD Generation for Creator Wizards
    The Bridge Wizard, Building Wizard, and Building Interior Wizards can now automatically create up to three levels of detail (LOD) for the models they build.
    The lower-resolution versions of the geometry use a “texture imposter” technique that preserves the visual detail of the model with significantly fewer polygons. 
  • VBS2/P3D File Export
    The new VBS2/P3D export filter allows users to output their static models directly from Creator to Virtual Battlespace 2 (VBS2) simulation environment.

Terra Vista Version 6.1

Some of the new features in Terra Vista include:

  • Import and Export VBS2's P3D Model Format
    Users can now import Bohemia Interactive's P3D model format for the VBS2 terrain format. This will allow for the use of existing P3D models, to include those with building interiors and articulated parts, to be imported into Terra Vista and output to the VBS2 terrain database.
  • Create Volumetric Complex Tunnels
    The complex tunnel feature will allow for the rapid creation of volumetric underground tunnels and facilities that can have a variety of above-ground and underground components that interconnect at various locations.

SIM OneNet Version 1.3

A major new feature added to our Net-Centric interoperability software for Simulation:

  • SIM OneNet 1.3 now allows users to record and playback any network activity monitoring out-of-the-box. This allows to save and retrieve collected network data. The record and playback feature will offer functionalities similar to a VCR including recording, playback, and jumping forward or backward in the recording.
