In this presentation, Mr. Henderson will discuss how standards-based commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) software, and an integrated portfolio of modeling and simulation tools, can offer a unique advantage in the development of an open, scalable, end-to-end modeling and simulation application.

Developing realistic, correlated terrain &  content for high-fidelity simulations

In this presentation, Mr. Simon will discuss challenges and trends related to low-altitude flight operation modeling and simulation. During this presentation, he will illustrate how these challenges can be addressed to save time and money in the development of simulation applications.  Topics covered will include correlated terrain and content generation, reading real-world data and creating complex simulation scenarios.

Mr. Henderson will discuss the complexity of realistic image generation for high-fidelity simulations. Technology used in fixed and rotary wing simulation development is evolving.  With budget cuts and a growing need for greater reliability and higher fidelity, organizations are looking to commercial-off-the-shelf solutions to deliver easy-to-use, integrated, and cost-effective ways to improve application development while providing the realism required for projects.

This presentation will illustrate solutions to these challenges and provide an overview of what is needed for a low-cost visualization system.

Live Product Demonstrations
A complete workflow will be demonstrated, showing how CDB enables Presagis products such as Terra Vista, STAGE, AI.implant, the Presagis Utilities Manager, and Vega Prime to optimize the development of terrain databases and simulation applications interoperable with other formats and third-party applications.

Other demonstrations will focus on the latest Presagis product updates, and how you can leverage the Presagis software tool suite to help you efficiently develop low-altitude flight training applications.
