Engenuity presents the Next Generation of Simulation at I/ITSEC 2006
Thisyear Engenuity will be showcasing a comprehensive range of COTSsimulation tools, as well as presenting several topical demonstrationson Artificial Intelligence, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, and the use ofNext Generation simulation tools to develop leading-edge scenarios& simulations. These demonstrations will highlight Engenuity'sproducts as well as partner technology from Diamond Visionics, Ægis and Boston Dynamics. Engenuity's customers will also be presenting throughout the I/ITSEC at the Engenuity booth, customers include Krauss-Maffei Wegmann, Institute for Creative Technologies and VMASC.

Krauss-Maffei Wegmann
Krauss-MaffeiWegmann (KMW) Training and Simulation Group will be presenting theirBatSim application which is a subsystem used in their vehicle trainingsimulators. KMW will provide a presentation detailing the BatSimapplication and how AI.implant technology enabled them to create a morerealistic training environment.
VMASC (Virginia Modeling, Analysis and Simulation Center)
VMASCwill be presenting their Crowd Federate Model which uses AI.implanttechnology to help with the crowd behaviors in the simulation. Crowdsof non-combatants play a large and increasingly recognized role inmodern military operations, and often create substantial difficultiesfor the combatant forces involved. The VMASC Crowd Federate is aconvergence of military simulation technology with gaming simulationtechnology. Not only a highly realistic simulation, but also one witheasily reconfigurable Game AI behaviors, which is needed forpsychologically-based models that evolve based on changing knowledge, changing context, and the influences of culture.
ICT (Institute for Creative Technology)
TheInstitute for Creative Technology will be discussing how they haveintegrated AI.implant into their Integrating Architecture (IA) project. The Integrating Architecture (IA) project builds and maintains theIntegrating Architecture (IA) technology base, a common virtualenvironment that integrates internal ICT research with externalresearch from Army labs, research centers, other universities and thecommercial game industry. This environment facilitates more efficientresearch integration, collaboration and transition, while alsoproviding a high-performance processing solution for military and ICTsimulations.
