JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the Quality
Assurance Manager, the software tester is responsible for setting up test configuration environments,
developing and executing simple test scripts as well as isolate, reproduce and
report software defects.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Set up test hardware and/or
software configurations
- Develop, maintain and execute
simple automated and/or manual test procedures
- Isolate, reproduce and report
simple software deficiencies.
- Inform management
regarding project status, issues and risks, and elaborate recommended action
plan as necessary
- Organize and archive the test procedures in order to foster
re-usability
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Technical college degree in computer science or equivalent

Minimum of 2 years of
experience in a related software development environment

Minimum of 1 year of C\C++ of application development
experience in a Windows environment (UNIX/Linux considered a definite asset)

Ability to organize
workload and work under remote supervision

Ability to manage multiple
activities
