MANAGER, SALES OPERATIONS - Presagis Worldwide

Location: Montreal - QC - Canada
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be part of a team of eight members and manage five order administration and licensing employees (two in the USA and three in Canada).
- Define core processes and procedures for the sales operations team - especially as they relate to Oracle and salesforce.com.
- Review and interpret purchase orders’ terms and conditions with the Sales Operations team; direct any legal question or issue to the Director, Legal Affairs.
- Redefine and streamline order administration and licensing process.
- Implement a licensing support procedure.
- Develop reporting procedures, planning procedures and success metrics for the Sales Operations team.
- Work with the North American and Rest-of-World sales teams to ensure maximum efficiency in order fulfillment and licensing.
- Work closely with the Director of Finance on the implementation of new Oracle back-end accounting system.
- Occasional travel to satellite offices (esp. Dallas) to oversee USA employees.
- Committed to a ZERO-BACKLOG philosophy at quarter-end.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- University degree in business systems administration or equivalent.
- Minimum 5-7 years in a similar position at a high-tech company or equivalent.
- Experience in reviewing and negotiating purchase orders’ terms and conditions.
- Strong understanding of the software business and sales process.
- Experience managing staff.
- Knowledge of software licensing systems.
- Understanding of the export regulations (ITAR and EAR) is an asset.
- Experience in Contract administration would be an asset.
- Ability to work in a demanding quarterly-driven business environment.
- Strong leadership and motivational abilities and committed to 100% success.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (French and English).
- Focused on successful, measurable, and repeatable processes.
- Deep understanding of a sales focusedculture.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
- Ability to prioritize the work.
