JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the software test lead,
the co-op student is responsible for setting up test configuration environments, developing and executing
simple test scripts as well as isolate, reproduce and report software defects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set up test hardware and/or software configurations
- Develop, maintain and execute simple automated and/or manual test procedures
- Isolate, reproduce and report simple software deficiencies.
- Inform his supervisor regarding project status, issues and risks, and elaborate recommended action plan as necessary
- Organize and archive the test procedures in
order to foster re-usability
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Completed first year of technical college degree in computer science or equivalent
- Experience in C++ application development a Windows environment (UNIX/Linux considered a definite asset)
- Ability to manage multiple activities
- Good communication and listening skills
